On March 31, 2011, peacefully in hospital at Telford, following a long illness, Irene Whittaker, of Hookfield, Bridgnorth, former Proprietress of I. M. Whittaker Confectioners and Tobacconists, of Whitburn Street, Bridgnorth, aged 75 years.

The dearly loved Mother of Will and Jason, special Sister of Frances and Lillian and a very dear Sister-in-law and Aunt.

Much loved, Irene will be sadly missed by all her Family and Friends.

Funeral Service at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury, on Wednesday, April 13, at 1.20pm.

Family flowers only by request please but donations for The Alzheimer's Society are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at the Crematorium.
