Don, Austin, Lester and Martin would like to express heartfelt thanks to Family and Friends for their support, cards, tributes and offers of help at this sad time in our lives.

Special thanks to our Vicar Val Tait, Eddie Francis the Undertaker, the Bearers and Ushers, not forgetting Fred Mountford for his touching eulogy, Lucy for her poem and Mike Taylor for his live rendition of "Thank you for the days" also Jackie for playing the organ, all carried out with suitable dignity.

We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Ward 22S at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, for their care and attention.

Finally thanks to Hellen Davies for the catering, Charlotte for the flowers and everybody who contributed towards the œ1,675 donations, which will be divided between The Severn Hospice, Ward 22S Umbrella Appeal and Middletown Church.

Alec touched many peoples lives, we are sure he will live on in your memories.
