On Wednesday, February 2, 2011, peacefully at Fairfield General Hospital, John aged 72 years and of Edenfield Road, Norden.

Dearly loved Husband of the late Betty Davies and much loved Father of Barbara, treasured Grandad of Capella, Mark, Shaun and Dawn and Great-Grandad of Mollie, Mikey, Marc, Matthew and baby George and Brother of Bernard and Janet.

Funeral to take place on Thursday, February 24, 2011, with Service at St James Church, Ashworth at 12 noon, followed by Cremation at Rochdale Crematorium at 1pm.
