David Thomas

The Funeral has taken place of David Thomas Evans who lived at Tyn-y-Wern, Dolywern, Llangollen and passed away at Nightingale House on December 23, 2010, aged 58 years. He leaves his Wife Lesley, Son Nick, Daughter Helena andtheir Partners, Granddaughter Taya, his Mother Muriel, Sisters and their Families. David was retired Headteacher at Selattyn and Ifron Heath Schools, he also bred Welsh Cob Ponies.

The Funeral Service was at Seion Chapel, Glyn Ceiriog, followed by Interment at Garth Cemetery on January 7, 2011 and was conducted bt Rev Andrew Evans. Bearers were Tim Collins, Glyn Owen, Eifion Owen, Ian Jackson, Roy Jackson and Nic Parrott. Mourners were many Relatives, Friends, Colleagues and Neighbours too numerous to mention.

Thanks - Lesley and Family wish to thank everyone for the support, messages of sympathy and flowers received. Thanks also for donations amounting to œ1,340 for Nightingale House Hospice. Many thanks to the hospice for their kindness and care andalso to Robert Bros Funeral Directors.
