Goodbye and God bless!

Michael Newport-Ball

09 January 2011
Well, over 50 years have gone by since we first met and I always knew one day I'd have to pay the price of saying "Hello" by saying "Goodbye"! :( I'll NEVER forget the closeness we shared and the memories we made thoughout those years. I'm glad that we shared so very much and were so very close. I'm glad for all the fun and games as well as for the bad times and bad things we said and shared. We were like a pair of naughty children when on our own and in our own private World. I'm so sorry that the end was so long and so painful and I wasn't there for you as indeed no-one was there for you. You died alone. The last thing that should happen to someone... especially you. You know full well that the "Heart had it's Reasons" as to why I wasn't there and neither was your daughter Iris. The closeness we shared made the last years too painful to be close - which now, on reflection, seems stupid. But it was, and is, still true. I'm sorry in my heart that you had the family you had... You deserved so much more and got nothing in return for your hard work. As we used to say "Their time will come"! My time will come too, but I fear nothing in this life except the fact that you can't trust even your own. I miss you so very much and wish you had listened to the truth rather than make excuses for people not worthy of them. Life has been so sad without you close by and without the constant laughs that once we shared. I wish you farewell and a safe journey. Where ever you are, part of me is there, as always, by your side. All my love, always. Michael X
