Well Archie and I played guitar together on and off for many years, we never did make the big time, but we had a few experiences that I will always remember, such as the 'Teddy Bear' laybye, there we were sitting in the car a guitar neck sicking out of each side of the car (as I am left handed) it was around midnight, early for us, and these eyes were in the bushes, catching passing headlights, Archie tried to scare this possible beast away, but it stayed transfixed on us. To cut it short now, and save and possible embarresssment to those still here and those departed, it turned out to be an abandoned teddy! Still, we wrote some good stuff together, and I will never forget the day he sneaked of and recorded one of my songs and one of his, on a demo disc. If he had made it big time I'm sure he would have acknowledged my ownership of the one side, Well ! he would wouldn't he? Mike Lewis.
