Mrs Jean Childs, James, Caroline, Sarah, Paul, Anne and the Family of the late Mr Charles Childs wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and Customers for the numerous cards, letters and other kind messages of sympathy, love, support and prayers received at this very sad and difficult time, for the attendance of over 250 of you at the Funeral Service and for your very generous donations, which are to be divided between Bridgnorth Cricket Club, The Ward 7 Trust at The Princess Royal Hospital NHS Trust at Telford and The ITU Trust at The Princess Royal Hospital NHS Trust at Telford.

We extend our very special thanks to his Doctorsand all the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice and to the Doctors and all the Staff at The Princess Royal Hospital NHS Trust at Telford for their care and kindness to Charles throughout his long illness, to all our wonderful Friends at Bridgnorth Cricket Club for looking after everyone so well afterwards, to Ken Arch, Philip Gough and Steven Caine for your very personal contributions to the day, to Maureen Fullwood for getting the flowers just right, to the Bearers for completing your duties with suchdignity and to the Revd Timothy O'Brien and Organist Dr John Turnock for leading us all in such a wonderful celebration of his life.
