John

On June 24, 2010, peacefully at Oldbury Grange Care Home Bridgnorth, followed a long illness, John Thornton, of Riverside, Bridgnorth, aged 85 years. The beloved Husband of Margaret, loving Father of Diana, Stella and Rowena, Father-in-law of John, John and Lawrence and a very dear Grandad and Great-Grandad. Much loved, John will be sadly missed by all his Family and Friends.

A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held at The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth, on Tuesday, July 6, at 2.30pm.

No flowers by request please but donations, which are to be divided between The League of Friends of Bridgnorth Hospital and The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth, Floor Appeal,are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at the Church.
