Of Woodside Caravan Park, Vyrnwy Bank, Llansantffraid, passed away suddenly at home, on January 21, 2010, aged 67 years. Meirion was dearly loved Husband of Joyce and loving Dad of Tracey-Anne, Mark and Andrew, Son-in-law of Annie Hughes, Father-in-law of Rob and devoted Grandad of baby Mischa. He was the Son of the late William Benjamin and Margaret Williams. He was one of eight Children, Stepbrother Selwyn (deceased), Gwyn, Michael, Bryan, Dennis, Margaret (deceased), Sandra and Linda.

Meirion lived with his Parents at Vyrnwy Bank from the age of 7 years old and his Dad passed away when Meirion was just 17 years old. In 1966 Meirion decided to start Woodside Caravan Park, which he built up with his Wife Joyce, Daughter Tracey-Anne and his two Sons Mark and Andrew.

The Bearers were Mark Williams, Andrew Williams, MichaelWilliams, John Ashton, Ken Pearce and Roy Hussey.

Joyce, Tracey-Anne, Mark and Andrew wish to thank Family, Friends, Neighbours, those who helped throughout the day and all the Caravan Park customers, the support and kindness has been amazing; thanks for the many cards, letters, flowers and messages of sympathy. Thanks for overwhelming attendance of people at the Funeral and for the generous donations, of over œ1,500, to support The Wales Air Ambulance and Llanfyllin Group Practice.

Also many thanks to Rikki Lloyd, Welshpool, for providing excellent refreshments and thanks to Aubrey Kirkham and Staff for their amazing help and support with the Funeral arrangements. Our special thanks to Aubrey Kirkham for the poem read at the Graveside.

Meirion will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
