It is with much sorrow we announce the death of Joan of The Vedw, Llanfair Waterdine at Knighton Hospital on Sunday, September, 8, in the presence of loving Friends.

Beloved Wife of the late Victor, Joan, aged 84 years, taught, until 1985, for 31 years, at Bucknell Primary School, prior to teaching at New Radnor Primary.

Born in Knighton, she will be sadly missed in the Parish and village of Llanfair Waterdine.

A Celebration of her life will be held at St Edward's Church, Knighton on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 2.30pm, followed by Interment in Knighton Old Cemetery.

Family flowers only please but kind donations will be gratefully received and will be shared between Cancer Research UK and St Mary's Church, Llanfair Waterdine Churchyard Fund.
