Sue, Tim, Richard and Kayleigh and the Family of the late Mr Bern Childs wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and former Colleaguesfor the cards, letters, emails and other kind messages of sympathy, love and support received at this very sad and difficult time, for the attendance of over 350 of you at the Funeral Service and for your donations, which are being received forand will be divided between The Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury.

Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

Special thanks to Bern's Doctors, particularly Dr David McDowell, to the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice and to all the outside Nursing Agencies for all your efforts on Bern's behalf throughout his long battle with this awful illness, to the amazing Staff at the Severn Hospice at Shrewsbury for your care of and kindness to Bern andto the Family throughout his final days and for the calm reassurance and time that you gave us all.

To Hilary Fellows at Eloquent Flowers, Six Ashes for the beautiful floral tributes, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, toall of you who participated in the Church Service for your very moving and personal contributes to such a special person, to Mr Bob Jones for that wonderful solo, to all at The Black Horse Hotel, in Bridgnorth for your warm hospitality, for the excellent catering arrangements and for looking after everyone so well afterwards, to our dear Friend, the Reverend Harry Edwards, Chaplain at the Severn Hospice and Organist Mr Brendon Quinn for leading us in a most moving and personal Celebration of Bern'slife and for supporting us as we said goodbye to Bern with love and thanks at the close of Bern's life and to Chris, John, Katie and the Staff at Perry and Phillips for all your help, comfort, support and patience.
