Loving wife to Roy, mother to Helen, Gordon and Hazel, mother-in-law to Mark and Christine, grandma to Ben, Matthew, Thomas, Christopher and Gary.
Passed away suddenly on January 26th.
A rose once grew where all could see,
Sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
It spread it’s branches straight and tall,
One day a beam of light shone through a crevice that had opened wide,
The rose bent gently towards its warmth,
Then passed beyond to the other side,
Be comforted the rose blooms there,
Its beauty even greater now,
Nurtured by God’s own loving care.
Funeral service at Central Methodist Church, Aston at 12 noon Thursday, February 9th followed by cremation at Rotherham at 1.20pm.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Bluebell Wood Hospice and or MS Centre at Catcliffe which may be made on the day of the funeral as a donation box will be available.
