It’s now two years, since you were set free,
Free from pain and misery,
To go where you will and breathe once more,
Air of the countryside you so adore,
With Mitzie chasing far and wide,
Together you walk the countryside,
No boundaries or fences will bar your way,
No set distance to travel that day,
Not matter how far or steep the hill,
No effect will you feel,
Nor will you feel ill,
So be free my dear Alma,
and always be sure,
That our love will go with you for
evermore,
The legacy you leave is plain to see,
In all who form our family,
Who you taught to be strong and always true,
No better tribute can I give you,
You will always be,
as you always have been,
My wife, my life, my love, for eternity.
