BENTLEY, Maureen - Died peacefully, aged 97 years, at Pennine Lodge on the 1st of October 2018, surrounded by her family, late of Wetheral, a dearly loved wife of the late John Bentley Esq, loving mother of Jane, Peter, Michael and Susan, mother-in-law of Philip and Mena, grandmother to Ruth, Andrew and Stephen and great grandmother to Lily. Many thanks for the care, love and respect shown to Maureen by the staff at Pennine Lodge Care Home. A Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady and St Wilfrid's, Warwick Bridge on Thursday, 11th October at 11.30am. Friends please meet at Church. Family flowers only, but donations in memory of Maureen if desired to The National Deaf Children's Society. All enquiries to Ian Blair Undertaker. Tel. 016977 41741.

Sincere condolences to you all. 'Mrs B' was a lovely lady who added colour to life. I have very fond memories of her from childhood at Wetheral and later here at Compton, when she entranced my young daughters. So glad to have known her. Catherine Beckett
