MILNE (Peter) It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Peter T. Milne, born 1942, who was taken from us far too soon on July 5, 2013, surrounded by his family, at Richmond General Hospital (Richmond B.C.) after a short, courageous battle with myelodysplastic syndrome. Born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Peter and his wife emigrated to Canada in 1967 and lived in Gold River, B.C. for 13 years until settling in Campbell River, B.C. in 1980. Peter had a 37 year career in the pulp industry in B.C. working in Gold River, Mackenzie, Prince Rupert and Port Alice. He was an avid ice hockey fan and a devoted family man. Loving husband, dad and grandpa, he will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 48 years, Nora, son Graeme (Myra), son Gregor (Erinn) and granddaughters Kate and Lys and grandson Benjamin, daughter Tricia (Carl) and granddaughter Mila. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister and many other family members on both sides. Flowers are graciously declined in favour of donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada (www.ccfc.ca).
