SPALDING (Kintore) Essie and family would like to thank everyone for their phone calls, cards and gifts following the sad loss of Jim. Thanks to all the visitors who went to see Jim in hospital and all who paid their last respects at the church and graveside despite the atrocious conditions. Thanks to the Orthopaedic Ward at Woodend Hospital and the staff at Allan Ward, Inverurie Hospital. Thank you to Lorna of Floral Request for the beautiful floral arrangements and Fiona Menzies and her staff for the excellent teas. Thanks also to Rev. Alan Greig for his comforting service and for the many home and hospital visits and to Mary Burnett for her wonderful Scottish tunes. Thank you also to Sean and David of Craig & Beverly, Funeral Directors for their efficient funeral arrangements. Finally, thank you to all who so generously donated £525 to Cancer Research, Jim's favourite charity.
