JOHNSTONE Suddenly, in Shetland, Edward, loving father of Lucy, cherished brother, uncle and great-uncle, best friend of Doreen, a loyal friend to many, who will be sadly missed. A celebration of Edward's life will take place, at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, DD11 4UN, but due to current restrictions, will be private.

Eddie was my neighbour. He was such a kind person and had time for my grandchildren, Bella and Rue and my cat Ollie and dog, Poppy. We all miss him dreadfully. Ollie and Poppy still sit on his back door step waiting for their tidbits....and the sneaky extra meals. Bella was very upset to think she wasn't going to see Eddie again, sadly...or maybe gladly, Rue is too young to understand. We will never have another neighbour as kind as Eddie.
RIP my friend, you are missed ❤.

Who am I going to phone for advice now? Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Car, you name it, Eddie's was the first one I'd call....he always had the part I needed in the back of his van or workshop. A good friend for many years, you will be sorely missed by me and many others. Rest in Peace Fast Eddie....x
