AULD (Peterhead) Patricia and family of Capt Alexander D Auld wish to thank all family, friends and neighbours for the many cards, flowers, baking and kind messages received following the very sad loss of Alex. Also thanking the paramedics and the fire crew at the house and to staff of Ward 105 ARI for their kindness; to Professor Sir Lewis Ritchie for his unfailing care over the years and laterally Dr Gregor Bruce, Dr Neil McRitchie and Dr Ian McLardy. Sincere thanks go to Owen and staff of Alexander Buchan & Son, Funeral Directors for their kindness and professional handling of the funeral arrangements; to Mr Robert Cardno for such a fitting tribute to Alex at the Chapel and also the graveside and kind thanks to the organist at the Chapel. A big thank you to the Sea Cadets for their Guard of Honour outside the headquarters and also the Lifeboat crew at the Harbour, and to all who turned out on route as Alex passed on his final journey. Thanks to everyone for all the many floral tributes and to all those who paid their last respects at the Chapel and graveside. Alex will be very sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Safely Anchored.
