OSBORNE Canon DEREK Died peacefully on August 3rd, 2020, aged 88. Beloved husband of Hilary. Loving father of Jeremy, Mark and Sarah; dear grandad to Christopher, Rachel, Joseph, Jacob, Hugh, Hannah and Joshua. Former vicar of Cromer, 1971-1983. Private funeral to be held due to Covid-19 restriction. A Service of Thanksgiving will follow when circumstances allow.

Derek was my vicar in 1982 for 6 years when I lived in cromer he confirmed me .. he gave very good sermons.. I send condolences from myself and my family..my father and brother..Derek would have known us by the surname jephcott...he will he sorely missed by all that knew him... Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time...

So very sad to hear of the passing of this lovely man. I was Junior Matron at Sutherland House School and walked the boarders to church each sunday. he had a great rapport with them. He also officiated at my wedding in Cromer in 1983. ,My thoughts are with you all at this sad time. he will never be forgotten.
