A Lovely Lady

I never had Mrs Daniels as a teacher but I remember playing Dick Whittington in one of her fantastic pantomimes. The effort and time she took to organise it was amazing. The school was a huge part of her life and as such she has left a lasting impression and lots of happy childhood memories with many people. I also spent part of my childhood at Mrs Daniels’ house hanging out with Sarah and James as part of the all weather gang and she always made us feel welcome. An absolutely lovely lady who will always be remembered fondly. My thoughts are with you all at this time.

Mrs Daniels was more than just a teacher

Mrs Daniels was special, nothing was ever too much trouble. In my time at walsingham school she was like a second mum to us all. She was warm, loving and cared more about our school than any teacher I've seen since. I remember the pantomimes she used to put on, I rember her passion for making learning fun. Looking back as a father now I can see the difference in the teachers my children have, they go to work and then go home, the school and us children were Mrs Daniels life, the time and energy she put in to her pupils was something I dont think you see now days. So Mrs Daniels I'd like to say thank you, you have left footprints in our hearts that we'll never forget. Rest in peace

My first teacher and always held a very special place in my heart. My memories of making a dinosaur out of egg boxes and of course the pantomimes are some of the best. RIP Mrs Daniels x
