ABBIE Elizabeth Christie (Edinburgh) Very peacefully, in the devoted and excellent care of the nurses at the Royal Infirmary, after many years of serious illness borne with wonderful fortitude and inspiring good humour, Elizabeth Christie, aged 78 years, cherished wife and best friend of Bill and adored and adoring aunt of Anne and great-aunt of Sophie. A private service and cremation have already taken place.
