GEORGE BARBARA JOAN It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Joan George of Brundall, Norfolk announces her passing after a brief illness, on January 10th, 2020, at the age of 79. Barbara passed away at The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Norwich and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Dennis and her children, Stephanie Punchard, Karen Clark, Julian George, Denise George and Louise Motteram and foster daughters Laura Oakley and Angie Upton. Barbara was a dearly loved grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all. In her working life, Barbara was employed by Norfolk Children’s Services as a Foster Carer and Foster Care Support Worker. In this time she positively touched the lives of many others with her compassion and caring nature. The funeral service will be held at Colney Woodland Hall on Monday, February 3rd at 3 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Flowers may be sent c/o the East of England Co-op Funeral Service, 321D Aylsham Road, Norwich by 12 noon please.
