Bridgnorth HIRONS

Dennis Edward Arthur Mrs Julie Hirons, Steve and Vanessa, Dan and Suzanne, Adam and the Family of the late Mr Dennis Hirons wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and former Colleagues for the many cards, letters, email's, Facebook post's, text's and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for the attendance of over 150 of you at his Funeral Service (we were worried about so many of you standing outside the Cemetery Chapel in the cold) and for your generous donations to The National Association of Blood Bikes, in excess of £650 to date.

Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to his Doctor and to the Staff at Bridgnorth Medical Practice for all your efforts on his behalf throughout his illness, to the Doctors and all Staff at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital NHS Trust for your care of and kindness to Dennis throughout his stay with you and for the great dignity afforded to him in the closing hours of his life, to the bearers for completing your duties with such care, to Jo Randall for the beautiful floral tributes, we were very pleased, to everyone who shared their memories of Dennis with us for inclusion in his Funeral Service, to all at The Kings Head Hotel in Bridgnorth for your warm hospitality on a bitterly cold day and for the excellent post- Funeral catering and to Civil Celebrant Mrs Penny McCarthy, for leading us in a Service that was exactly as Dennis wanted.

Thank you all.
