Richard Thomas Mrs Julie Wilkes, Chris and Tim, wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neigh- bours, Colleagues and Members of the wider farming community for the many cards, letters, emails, Facebook posts, texts and other kind messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for the attendance of over 450 of you at his Funeral Service and for your donations to Prostate Cancer UK totalling £2,794.00 to date. Thank you for your fantastic support which has been so greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to Richard's Doctors at New Cross Hospital NHS Trust at Wolverhampton, particularly Dr Ian Sayers, Vanda Carter and Claire Lomas of the Research Department for your care of and kindness to Richard and the Family, to Sally Beaman for the beautiful floral coffin tribute, we were very pleased, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such care, to everyone who shared their memories of Richard with us for inclusion in his Funeral Service and particularly to Craig Snelson for your very personal contributions to the occasion, to all at Patshull Park Hotel for your warm hospitality afterwards and for the excellent post Funeral reception catering, and to the Reverend Garry Ward, the Reverend Les Doughty and Organist Mr Patrick Gannon for leading us in a most unlifting Celebration of the life and times of Richard Wilkes.
