(Wally)

Mrs Mary Betteridge, Stuart, Duncan and the Family of the late Mr Wally Betteridge wish to express their sincere thanks to all Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and former Colleagues for the many cards, letters, emails, Facebook messages of sympathy, love and prayers received at this very sad time, for the attendance of over 300 of you at his Funeral Service and for your donations to the Severn Hospice, Hospice at Home, totalling œ1,561 to date.

Your wonderful support has been greatly appreciated by us all.

We extend our special thanks to Wally's Doctors and to the Staff at Highley Medical Practice for all your efforts on his behalf throughout his illness, to all the outside Nursing Staff at Highley Medical Practice for all your efforts on his behalf throughout his illness, to all the outside Nursing agencies for supporting us in nursing him at home until the very end, which was just so important to all of us, to Helen at Maggie's Florists for the floral tributes, to the Bearers for completing your duties with such dignity, to everyone who shared their memories of Wally with us for inclusion in his Funeral Service, particularly to Jayne and Owen for your very personal contributions to the occasion, to everyone at Highley Working Mens Club for your warm hospitality afterwards, to Carol and Doreen for the excellent post Funeral reception catering and to the Revd Val Smith and Organist Mr Oliver Clarke for leading us in a mostuplifting celebration of the life and times of Wally Betteridge.
