HOWIE Irene and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy by way of cards, letters, flowers and for all the phone calls received during their recent sad loss of Ian; special thanks to the doctors and nurses, Ward 44, Victoria Hospital, and Ward 2, St Andrews Community Hospital, to the doctors at Elie and Pittenweem Practice and to all the nurses who attended Ian at home; special thanks also to the Rev. Arthur Christie for his heartfelt service and caring words, to Davina Douglas and Ross Drummond, at Co-operative Funeralcare, Denbeath, who attended to Ian with utmost respect and dignity, and to staff at The Dunnikier House Hotel; finally, sincere thanks to all who paid their last respects to Ian at Kirkcaldy Crematorium and so generously donated towards the ongoing work of Cancer Research U. K.
