MY DAD

Cherlene Allan

30 September 2015
My dad was (and still is ) the champion of the world to me, me and bryony were loved so so much by our dad he never hesitated with hugs, cuddles, and tickles to cheer us up, he spent so much time with us, going to the park, swimming, out on our bikes and sledging in baxters park when it was winter, my dad was a fountain of knowledge to me, he knew everything and always had an answer for every question, he was the cleverest person I knew even as I grew up no one was ever as smart as my dad, he took part in every aspect of my life taking me to school, lunch on a Friday, on his days off he picked me up from school and took me to different cafes for lunch ( our favourite was the windmill)school sports days where he always made me so proud as he sprinted past the other dads easily and parents nights when I usually got a telling off !! My mum and dads relationship was something to look up, to they absolutely adored one another and the way they worked together in everything they did I've never seen a couple so meant for each other, they had everything in common and enjoyed being with each other and me and bryony. It's hard to say in words how much I love my dad and how much he meant to me but I'll try .. My dad was my absolute hero, I couldn't and can't see past him, he is with me everyday in every thing that I do, my dad found a laugh in everything and was great at impressions ,he could crack eveyone up with one word , he was so so so funny and there was a lot of laughter everyday in our house . Most people might not know that he was a great artist aswell me and my dad used to draw together a lot and he always done pictures of my favourite characters when I was wee ..it's hard to sum up my dad as there was so many aspects to him and all of them were amazing so I guess it's as simple as this when I think of my dad my heart feels fit to burst with love for him but also with pride that this clever ,loving ,funny, hard working man was my DAD.....BEST DAD IN THE UNIVERSE ILYX
