SMITH (Ballater)Suddenly but peacefully, on Sunday, August 20, 2014, after a short stay at Alastrean Care Home, Marshall Alexander Hosie. Dearly beloved only son of the late Alexander Smith and Annie Hosie. Dear friend and companion of Gordon for many years. Born on April 6, 1929 in Sandend, Banffshire, Marshall spent a long, happy and varied life in the Far East and latterly in the North East of Scotland. He will be remembered for the great pleasure he gave to many as a dedicated and gifted church organist. Funeral private at his own request. No flowers please, but donations in lieu, if desired, may be sent to Mrs E. Simpson at the Ballater Clinic to be used for the benefit of the medical practice.
