Sadly passed away at home with his Family on Monday, January 6, 2014, aged 71 years.

Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 24, at 11.20am, Ruiton Chapel and 12.20pm Gornal Crematorium.

Donations to be given for Crohns Disease.

Where do I begin of a wonderful Husband I had who cared and looked after us, hard working man who loved life to the full, he fought so hard to stay with us. I loved you so much, no one will ever know David, you were one in a million, my lover, my soul mate and my best Friend, so I am holding on to the light that you shine, the love that you gave me. Missing you so much today and every day.

We knew we hadto lose you as the days were slipping by, we tried so hard to help you and so hard not to cry, we sat beside your bedside and held your hand with love, we stroked your head with tenderness and prayed to God above. Although our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not say, you fought for life with courage in each and every way, we want to tell you something, so there is no doubt, you are so very much loved Dad and so hard to live without.
