If I could write a story Dad the contents would be about the greatest ever Father, this was plain to see.

I know we weren't in contact before you passed away, I know you would agree Dad, this was not meant to be. Unfortunate as it may seem it was beyond our control.

I want to tell you Dad, in different circumstances you would not have died alone, I would have been there for you, to send you on your final journey home.

You deserve to be at peace Dad as you meet your beloved Mom and Dad, they will be there to look after you and give you love at last.

The greatest gift of all, you were still my Dad, I remember you telling me the special bond we had would last till the end.

I never stopped loving you and in death I always will.
