On March 19, 2013, suddenly at his home, Ron Wassell, of Bridgnorth, formerly of Walsall, in his 92nd year.

Superintendent with the West Midlands Constabulary, retired.

The Husband of the late Barbara Wassell,Father of Richard, Father-in-law of Carys, dear Grandad of Angharad and Catrin and Great-Grandad of Jack and Billy.
