Derek

Passed away at New Cross Hospital on February 5, aged 80 years.

Please come and join us at Derek's Celebration of Life at St Mary's Church, Bushbury on Tuesday, February 26, at 11 o'clock.

Family flowers only but donations would beappreciated for Compton Hospice on the day, care of Tina.

Husband

You had a smile for everyone, a heart more pure than gold, no one knows what you suffered because you never told. Now rest your head upon this pillow full of shining stars, goodnight my darling, God bless you, you know you've broken my heart. Go now my love and dance all over Heaven with those new legs. Rest peacefully. Thank you for our life together.

Dad

Dad after nearly 60 years you'd think I'd know what to say. You were everything to me and always will be. I love and miss you and always will.

We are heartbroken, Son Stephen and Tina.

A wonderful Dad who made no fuss and did his best for all of us. We miss you Dadand always will, you leave a space no one can fill. You were always there for us and a piece of our hearts has gone with you, sleep tight now Dad.

How do you write on paper the feeling you have inside, the emptinessand heartache when the Dad you loved has died. To me you were so special, what more is there to say, except to wish with all our hearts that you were here today.

God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be, He put His arms around you and said 'Derek come with Me'. How is it possible to explain that heartache, longing to have them back, when the Grandad youlove has gone? There is no explanation as to how much we will miss him and how much we loved him. Rest in peace Grandad, we will never forget you.
