Morning Has Broken

This was played at your funeral......a wonderful uplifitng hymn. We all love and miss you so very much and cannot believe that we will never see you again. Lots of love from Mum and all your family in Scotland. xxxxx Morning has broken, like the first morning Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird Praise for the singing, praise for the morning Praise for the springing fresh from the word Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven Like the first dewfall, on the first grass Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden Sprung in completeness where his feet pass Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning Born of the one light, Eden saw play Praise with elation, praise every morning God's recreation of the new day By susan hannah on 16 Apr 2013

A Wonderful Angel

Michael, I have just had a message from the off duty police officer Jenny who tried to save you. Hers was the last face you saw and the last hand you held and she is just a wonderful Angel to me for trying so very hard to save you. I will never forget what she did although it was not to be. God Bless and look over Jenny.. Lots of love from Mum and all the family in Scotland.xxxxx By susan hannah on 05 Apr 2013

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene , he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life, that there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him, and he questioned the Lord about it. " Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you most you would leave me". The Lord replied " My Son, My precious child. I Love You, and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you". By susan hannah on 16 Feb 2013

The Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come. Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead, Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves, Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves. He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now: put out every one; Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun; Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood. For nothing now can ever come to any good. God Bless Michael

It was beautiful, As long as it lasted The journey of my life. I have no regrets Whatsoever save The pain I'll leave behind Those dear hearts Who love and care And the strings pulling At the heart and soul. Continues By susan hannah on 16 Feb 2013

Goodbye our Beloved Michael

He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much; Who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; Who has left the world better than he found it; Who has looked for the best in others and given the best he had; Whose life was an inspiration Whose memory is a benediction By susan hannah on 16 Feb 2013

Always loved and always remembered

If I should go tomorrow It would never be goodbye, For I have left my heart with you, So don't you ever cry. The love that's deep within me, Shall reach you from the stars, You'll feel it from the heavens, And it will heal the scars. By susan hannah on 07 Feb 2013
