Beloved Husband of the late Nellie.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, aged 77 years.

Will be sadly missed.

Funeral Service will take place at 10.15am on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Toll End Methodist Church, Bourne Avenue, Tipton. DY4 0LR, followed by Committal at Sandwell Valley Crematorium, Newton Road, West Bromwich. B71 3SZ.

Family flowers only please, but donations in aid of The Royal OrthopaedicHospital will be gratefully received by Amanda Reynolds.

My Cockerel.

I sat beside your bedside not knowing what to do, I held your hand and kissed your cheek and told you I loved you. It has broken my heart to lose you but you did not go alone, a part of me is with you, you and Mum will never be alone.

A heart of gold stopped beating, a smiling face at rest, Dad, you are the very best.

Of all the gifts in life, however great or small, to have you as my Dad was the very best of all. I'm so proud of you, you put up such a fight.

Rest now my dear Dad, re-united with my dear Mum Nellie, your Wife and the love of your life. Two broken hearts now again as one. Bonnie and Clyde, Jack and Vera, Nellie and Harold, double acts at their very best.
