He wasn't a hero known by the world but a hero he was to his five girls, we knew his voice before we could speak and we loved it when he'd sing us to sleep, he taught us life's lessons of right from wrong and instilled in us values that made us strong and so through the years a hero he stood, working to give us all that he could, his presence was important and we loved to see him smile, to sit and reminisce and talk to him a while. Today is your birthday Dad, 80 years old, to the most wonderful Father this world could hold.
