Passed away suddenly on July 15, 2012, aged 78 years.

Will be sadly missed by Family and Friends.

Funeral Service to be held, on Monday, August 6, at Tipton Green Methodist Church, at 11.30am, followed by Interment, at Tipton Cemetery, at 12.15pm.

Afterwards all welcome to join us at Parkes Hall Social Club, Woodsetton.

I lie awake at night when others are asleep and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek. It broke my heart to lose you but you didn't go alone, for part of me went with you, the day God called you home.

What I'd give if I could say hello Dad in the same old way, to hear your voice and see you smile, to sitwith you and chat awhile. Things will never be the same and although it hurts so bad, I will always smile when I hear your name and be proud you were my Dad. So if you have a Father, cherish him with care, for you'll never know the heartache, till you see his vacant chair.

My Grandad kept a garden, a garden of the heart, he planted all good things, that gave my life a start, his constant good example, always taught me right from wrong, markers for my pathway, that will last my whole life long.

If I could write a story, it would be the greatest ever told, of a kind and loving Father who had a heartof gold. I'd write a million pages and still be unable to say, just how much I love and miss him every single day. I will remember all he taught me, I'm hurt but I won't be sad because he will send me down the answers and he will always be my Dad.
