We little knew that morning, that God would call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you,the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.

Our Family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered 'Come to Me'.

With tearful eyes we watched you, we watchedyou fade away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands now rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
