A true gentleman was my Dad, also a bit of a cheeky 'lad',
but always a smile upon his face, which, in part, was his saving grace.
Such a humble and kind man was he - "Bampa, can I sit on your knee, and will you read a story to me". These words were constantly asked, by loving great grandkids as they walked passed.
Never wanting to cause a childish frown, not once did you turn anyone down.
So with saddened heart Dad, and eyes full of tears, I wish you goodnight all through the years.
Love and miss you always Dad, your devoted daughter XXxx
