Passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016, aged 87 years.

The Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Short Heath on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 2.30pm, followed by a Burial Service in Holy Trinity Churchyard, at 3.00pm.

Sleep on, dear Wife, in the spot where you lie, sadly we miss you though time passes by, the pain you suffered so much has ceased, we pray to God rest your soul in peace.

God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be she closed his arms around you and whispered, 'come to Me'. In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay. But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer so again. So keep your arms around her Lord and give her special care, make up for all she suffered and all that seemed unfair.

We had a wonderful Grandmother, one who never reallygrew old, her smile was made of sunshine and her heart was solid gold, her eyes were as bright as shining stars and in her cheeks fair roses you see. We had a wonderful Grandmother and that's the way it will always be.
