Wendy

Wife of Bernie and Mother of Hollie and Chloe, passed away on January 15, 2012. Nursing at Sandwell General Hospital for 28 years, Ward Sister, Newton One, established the Emergency Accident Unit, Newton Four Ward Sister, having spent time working at Heath Lane Hospital as a Ward Sister. Clinical Nurse Practitioner covering Sandwell and General Hospital and Rowley Hospital.

Funeral on Friday, February 3, at 10.45am, at West Bromwich Crematorium, departing from the Family homeat 9.45am. Family flowers only, donations to Compton Hospice in memory of Wendy.

Thanks to all Staff on Ward Priory Five, for their professional care and kindness and likewise to Compton Hospice for their wonderful work at this time and no doubt in the future.

My childhood friend, dear Wendy, Who I grew up with and loved so much, I'm just so sad and sorry, That the later years we fell out of touch. But sometimes in our lives, Things don't go how we'd planned, But right now I wish you were here, To hug you and hold your hand. I hope my dear friend Wendy, Who was strong and knew what's best, That now that your in heaven, You will find eternal rest. God rest my dear friend. Ian xx
