CLARKE Anthony Laurence.

Died peacefully in The Royal Victoria Hospital, Vancouver Island, on November 17, 2011, aged 87 years.

Born in Wolverhampton, he was educated at St Chad's College. After wartime Army service in India and the Far East heobtained a Science Degree in Melbourne, Australia and worked for The National Physical Laboratory there.

Tony lived in Canada for half a century and recently worked daily as a volunteer at the Shoal Centre Charity Shop in Sidney, repairing radios and electrical appliances, donated for the benefit of Vancouver Island citizens.

Mourned by his Friends in Vancouver Island and elsewhere and by his loving Sister Elizabeth and his Brother-in-law and Nieces and Nephew in England.
