?10 short years ago today,
no warning of you going away,
leaving behind so much love,
to be our angel from above.
The world may be a wonderous place,
but without that smile upon your face,
we grin and bare our troubles through,
as that's the way we know you'd do.
Holding memories that we treasure,
of months of fun and years of pleasure,
but still missing every warm embrace,
and that cheery smile upon your face.
You never showed any fear,
while caring for those you held dear,
and now our loss is Heaven's gain,
until we all meet up again.
