We sat beside your bedside Mom, we held your had with love, we watched you while you were sleeping and prayed to God above.

In tears we watched you sinking and slowly fade away, although our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay.

In God's care you sleep above, in our hearts you stay with love.
