It broke our hearts to lose you David and to say our last goodbye.

We told you how much we loved you, as we gently held your hand and slowly watched you slip away, as God held out His hand, to take you to a better land.

You were so true in all your ways, we have never felt this pain, my heart I'd give if I could hold you once again.

God needed a star in Heaven, a beautiful star to shine but why oh why did He have to choose that wonderful Son of mine.

You can't come backDavid, we know that's true but one day 'our Son' we will come to you.
