Son and only Child

Two years today.

This day dawns with deep regret, the hour, the day, I will never forget, it's the day you sadly left me and we had to part, it's the day my whole world fell apart.

On February 22, 2012 Heaven's gate opened wide, Angels were standing side by side. A special guest was on his way, the day they took my Son away. All the Angels up above give my Son a great big hug.

A Son more precious than gold, forever in my heart to hold, death leavesa heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Have you ever lost a Son, who means the world to you, the one you love with all your heart and miss him like I do. If you have never had this feeling, then I hope you never do, for when He takes the Son you love, He takes a part of you.

Your love is always with me, I know that you're still with me Son, especially today, because we shared a closeness even death can't take away and sometimes when I'm wishing that you'd send a little sign, a butterfly or rainbow lets me know you're doing fine and when a pure white feather drifts down softly from the sky, I know you're trying to say that you don't want to see me cry, for there must be a reason why the Angels took you home and youhave found a way to let me know I'm not alone, for there's a special golden thread from here to Heaven above, that keeps you ever close to me, it's called the bond of love.

It's sometimes hard to know why some things happen as they do, for so much joy and happiness was centred around you. It seems so hard to comprehend that you're no longer here but all the happy memories will help to keep you near.

You're thought about with pride Son, with each mention of your name, death cannot change a single thing,the love will still remain.

I wander to your Graveside and place each flower with care, for the Son I love so deeply is peacefully sleeping there, with his Dad.

Sleep with your Dad and the Angels, together forever.

God bless you Son. You were both loved too much to ever be forgotten.
