Sadly passed away on February 10, 2014, at home.

The Funeral Service will take place at Gornal Wood Crematorium, on February 27, 2014, at 3.30pm.

Family flowers only.

The Family have requested people attending the Funeral wear bright colourful clothing.

Husband

I was right beside your bedside Mick, my heart was crushed and sore, I tended you with loving care, till I could do no more.

In tears I watched you sinking and slowly fade away, although my heart was breaking, I knew you could not stay.

A thousand prayers won't bring you back, I know because I have tried, neither will athousand tears, I know because I've cried.

You left behind a broken heart and beautiful memories too but I never wanted memories Mick, I only wanted you.

Thank you my darling for thirty-four years together.

I will love you and miss you all the days of my life.

You guided me through childhood, you watched me as I grew and when I needed anything, I could always come to you.

I lived in hope, I prayed in vain for God to make you well again but when a cure was not to be, He gentle whispered come to Me.

A golden heart stopped beating, two willing hands at rest, I know God's garden is even more beautiful because now He has the very best.

You were my Dad and I loved you so, what it meant to lose you no one will ever know.

You never complained, your wants were few and you never deserved what you went through.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven Dad and bring you home again.

All my life I will miss you as the years come and go but you will live in my heart forever Dad, because I love you so.
