Husband

Have you ever lost a Husband that meant the world to you, the one you love so very much and miss him like I do? If you've never had this feeling then pray you never do, for when God takes the Husband you love, He takes a part of you.

They say that hearts don't really break, dear God that's just not true, for when You took my Husband away, You broke my heart in two. Take him in Your arms now and cherish him with care, to make up for all he suffered and all that seems unfair.

We sat beside your bedside, our hearts were crushed and sore, we tended you with loving care until we could do no more. In tears we watched you sinking and slowly fade away, although our hearts were breaking we knew you could not stay.

You're with the Angels watching us as we play, we send our love in bundles, more and more each day.

If we shouldsearch the earth, amongst the trees, the seas and flowers, there wouldn't be a Grandad as perfect as ours.
