We sat beside your bedside not knowing what to do, we held your hand and stroked your face and told you we loved you. In tears we watched you sinking, we watched you fade away and though our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone, as part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
