If you've never had this feeling, then pray you never do for when God takes the Wife you love, He takes a part of you.

They say that hearts don't really break, dear God that's just not true, for when You took my Wife away You brokemy heart in two.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put His arms around you and whispered come with Me.

With tearful eyes we watched and saw you pass away, although we love you dearlywe could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

If I could have just one wish and never have another, it would be to have one day and spend it with my Mother.

I'd sit with her and chat awhile, we'd have a cup of tea, no one else would be there, it would be just Mom and me.

We'd talk about the things we've done, reminisce and have a laugh, I'd give her kisses and joke with her and she'd say don't be daft, then just before I had to leave, I'd hold her tight and whisper low, Ta ra Mom, love you, see you tomorrow.

As you walk through the gates in Heaven, I know you arenot alone, the loved ones that went before you, are waiting to welcome you home.
