I sat beside your bedside, not knowing what to do, I kissed your face and told you how much I loved you. Through my tears I saw you sinking, I watched you fade away and although my heart was breaking, I knew you could not stay. I guess people are right when they say God only takes the best, I know enough now that you're peacefully at rest.
